What if you're wrong?

They were sure the world was flat,
that cigarettes were safe,
that shoulder pads made you look professional,
that a low fat diet helped with weight loss.

They told us, they assured us.
they made a promise.
We believed them.

Many of your truths will become outdated.
By all means believe them now.
And share your thoughts with  the world.
But don't be arrogant about it
Or you'll look like a dick later.
