It's tempting to want everything at the same time, in the same place in one neat package.

Before you try to get everything all at once, work out what you NEED, what you have already and then look for the rest:
You'll need a job
This is where the money comes from, either directly when you get paid per hour or indirectly when you do something that allows you to be provided for.
You'll need a career
This is the area in which you work, like medicine is a career for jobs like doctor, nurse, pharmaceutical salesperson.
You'll need a purpose
This is what keeps you going in the long term, it could be saving lives or making the perfect paper crane
You'll need an outlet
This is what keeps you going in the short term, time out, a release, being creative.
You'll need a sense of responsibility
The knowledge that you are contributing and that what you do counts
You'll need a sense of value
The knowledge that you are contributing and that you count no matter what you do
