There's only one thing more annoying than someone who is
new to the game and a bit green,
not yet that good,
lacking experience,
not able to see the full picture.

There's only one thing more annoying than that.
And that's remembering that you were once that someone too.

We like to complain when things aren't as easy as they should be
But when things are easy we tend to get less done
We relax
We chill out
We know that the world won't end if we don't get it all done

And then when it stops being easy we complain
Basically because we didn't do as much when it was easy.

Two options: even when it's easy, get it done.
When it's not easy, stop complaining
and get it done.

One option really.

That beautifully worded email?
The heartfelt message telling me how much you care?
The explanation about just what you can do to make me better?
That apology for the delay; these are busy times!

I'll wait for you to get around to getting back to me if I don't have another choice.

But if I do have a choice?

Fast beats Good.

(ps: 'thanks for getting in touch, I'll get back to you soon to answer your query' is pretty fast when typed or texted).

First of all it was cold and early so I thought I'd read a blog before I got up.

Then I was like "whaaaaat? is this dude inside my head"

Then I thought, maybe me and him are soul mates, there can't be more people who do this.

Then I was all about what if this is true for all of us.

Then it was all too much and I got up cos I was thinking about what the world would be like if we had compassion for these things when we saw them in others

And then I thought we could show compassion when we see these things in ourselves.

Crazy I know but let's try it.
