You don't need to reach the top of the mountain every day.
Some days it's ok To take one step. And honestly, Some days it's ok if that one step isn't even in the right direction

It's brilliant being your own boss.
You do what you want, when you want to, You make the rules and you can break them if you want them. The boss is always on your side. BUT the boss isn't going to call you out on any dumb ideas that are going to end up costing you money Your boss isn't going to be your cheerleader when you aren't sure you are on the right track. You can't tell your boss to stick it and walk out of the business without any notice if they are a complete moron. It's not always brilliant being your own boss. I know you have done this 100 times before
there's nothing new it's all been done How can anyone not know this already? We have been talking about this for years What would anyone choose that when the alternative is so much better They will learn in the end. You weren't born knowing everything, you learnt along the way. Let others have their journey too. What if everything was going to work out in the end?
What if you knew you would get what you needed You knew you would be safe You knew you would be happy What if you lived without fear of terrible things happening What would that mean to the choices you make today? Many exercise professionals choose to join the industry through being unhealthy themselves and then discovering the benefits of exercise.
They then share these benefits with others. They learnt the hard way, through doing things that didn't make them healthy first, then changing. As people who have found the light and know the benefits we need to remember that once we didn't. We need to be compassionate to those who haven't reached the point we reached yet. These people are not bad, mad, stupid. We weren't. They sometimes don't listen to reason. We often didn't. They should not be stigmatised, they should be encouraged. Like we were. Maybe they won't see the light in the timeframe we would like them to. We probably didn't either. As you know, it's worth it when you get there. Help them get there. |
